Rotary Club Drobeta Turnu Severin Continental aims to encourage and promote the ideal of service as a basis of activity and, in particular, to encourage and promote:

Knowledge development as an opportunity to serve;
High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and dignity to every Rotarian professional activities as an opportunity to serve society;
The implementation of the ideal of service for every Rotarian in his personal activities, business, and community;
Increasing understanding, goodwill and peace, in a world of international business people and professionals united in the ideal of service.

Ways to help

For years, the commitment of Rotary Club Drobeta Turnu Severin Continental to service above self has been channeled through different modalities underlying the club’s activity.

Serving of club focuses on strengthening friendships and ensure effective functioning of the club.
Vocational serving encourages Rotarians to serve others through their vocation, and to practice high ethical standards.
Serving of community concerns club projects and activities to improve life in our community.
International serving includes the measures taken to expand Rotary humanitarian activities worldwide and to promote understanding and world peace. Rotarians will support this goal by sponsoring projects in other countries, and seeking international partners for projects to support projects in our community through volunteering within international projects.
Serving of new generation recognizes the positive change implemented by youth and young adults in leadership development activities as RYLA, Rotaract and Interact projects, to serve and create an international understanding through Rotary Youth Exchange program.
